Johnny O'Keefe - Johnny O'Keefe Live

Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood/Over The Mountain/I'm Counting On You/If I Had A Hammer/You Don't Have To Say You Love Me/Sing/Just A Closer Walk With Thee/New Orleans/She Wears My Ring/Shout/Right Now

Recorded in 1968 at the Playroom on the Gold Coast, always at his best in front of an audience the crowd seems appreciative of his performance.
Opening number "Don't let me be Misunderstood" is the standout track for me followed by the Dusty Springfield hit "You Don't Have To say You Love Me". The rest of the album has Johnny singing hits of old "Sing" "Right Now" and "Shout " among them.
Not bad for a live recording . This was originaly released on Calendar records in 1968 then again in 1973 on Summit this is the Summit release.
